We’ve all questioned those witch-like pointed toe shoes, and those unmistakably un-stylish Toms, and the floppy hat that make you look like the Paddington bear.  I often wonder about these trends: just how long is it going to last?  Naturally, this new trend of wearing PJ-like articles as normal/formal outfits completely boggled my mind when I first saw it.Infectious is this thing called fashion. If you habitually browse fashion media and publications, you are willingly giving in to the brainwashing power of advertisement.  The more I saw this PJ trend around, the more I caught myself picturing how and with what I would style this look, despite my initial incredulity toward it.Fateful is this thing called fashion. Sometimes, you just know you won’t be able to resist something new, even though something in your gut tells you it’s “not you”. I felt this way about ombré hair, FitBit, and A didas Superstar. And yes I have given into all three, after a few months/years of observation. And this PJ trend eventually got me, too. I got horribly sick so I didn’t wind up going. But I thought this outfit is quite fitting for any fashion conference where you want to stand out and be comfortable for an all day affair.
